Divich Stands Behind Our Military Families

Kenneth Divich Elementary values the many families that live in our community who have ties to the military. As a school, we understand that military youth go through unique circumstances and situations and we want every military family to know we are here to help. This webpage is designed to provide you with easy access links to helpful resources. In addition, the staff in our schools have experience in assisting military families.

The average military family can move 6-9 times from Kindergarten to grade 12. According to the NV Department of Education, 11,000 students are military-connected and 6,756 belong to the Clark County School District. Located 20 miles from Nellis Air Force Base and 29 miles from Creech Air Force Base, Kenneth Divich Elementary School has implemented a team to provide support to our military-connected students as they transition to a new school. At Divich ES, all students are given opportunities to practice their leadership skills and reach new academic achievements.
