Battle of the Books

Keep Reading Knights!

Advisor: Mrs. Jiron

Available to: Serious readers in 4th and 5th grades!

When: 7:45 -8:40 am on Thursday mornings alternating with StuCo

Dates: 10/9, 10/23, 11/12, 12/11, 1/8, 1/22, 2/12, 2/26, 3/12. 

Location: Divich Library

Start Date: First meeting is Oct. 9, 2025 but students may begin reading now! 

"Battle of the Books" is a club in which students read eight designated books over several months, work in teams to study & prepare, and then compete against other teams to answer questions about the same eight books! Once underway, the BOB club will meet every other Thursday morning in the library before school. The club culminates in March/April with the local "Battle of the Books" competitions to be held here at Divich! One winning team will then go on to represent Divich ES at the regional battle where they will compete against the winning teams from other schools!
